Guard Security Systems provides and install alarm systems and associated services, including CCTV and entry systems, access control This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing business that prides itself on providing a competent and professional service to clients and keeping pace with new technology.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Installation and Service Engineer. Reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for various contacts across the London area, including private and business clients. Duties will mainly involve installation and service but may include maintenance or fault trace on occasion, so flexibility is a must.

The ideal candidate

This role requires previous experience and technical knowledge of installation of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Door Entry, Access Control Systems and Fire Alarms, with an NSI approved company and in line with all associated British Standards. The successful candidate will be eligible to work in the UK, extremely customer-focused, with high levels of reliability, punctuality and trustworthiness. The skills to communicate, collaborate and build relationships with clients and the team are essential, as is the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure and when working both with and without supervision.

Appointment is subject to successful security screening, credit check and DBS (criminal record) checking. This role covers London within the M25 and a full clean driving licence is required.
